Terms of Service

Effective September 3, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Alex Breeze (“we”, “us”), who operates the Squad app (“Squad”). By creating an account or using Squad, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Squad.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Squad. By using Squad you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your account

  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your login credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
  • One account per person; do not share your account or impersonate anyone.
  • Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, or post content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, or harassing;
  • impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
  • upload other people’s private information without permission;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Squad;
  • use Squad to send spam or to interfere with other members’ use of it.

We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of the workouts, photos, and comments you post. By posting them, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and share that content within Squad as needed to operate the service — for example, showing your workout to the squads you belong to. You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.

Health disclaimer

Squad is a fitness-tracking and social app, not a source of medical advice. It does not provide medical, health, or professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before beginning, changing, or relying on any exercise program. You participate in physical activity at your own risk.

Service availability

Squad is an early-stage product provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we do not guarantee that Squad will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

Termination

You may stop using Squad and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Squad is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Squad. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts located in Washington State.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Your continued use of Squad after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
